Eligibility Criteria

Candidate with F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or A-level having with Equivalency Certificate from IBCC, Islamabad with at Least 50% marks are eligible to apply. They need to pass an aptitude test/interview by the admission committee.

Program Objectives

To train competent, committed and skilled public healthcare professional with sound knowledge of public health that will improve public health auxiliary and support services. Prepare leadership in public health. Develop, administer and evaluate health policies and programs. They will confidently participate in efforts to improve the health of the community using assessment of preventive services. To train graduates in the conduct of basic and applied research relevant to the description, risk factors and interventions for the resolution of health problems in the human population and community.

The graduates will be qualified to solve health related problems within financial, socio-cultural, environmental, ethical and political framework of Pakistan and its surrounding regions. They will be able to design, conduct, analyze and interpret the results of epidemiological investigations, projects and programs. They would be able to plan, manage, and evaluate interventions in the field of public health. They would be efficient in communicating with public health messages to diverse audience of the community. They will be able to advocate public health intervention and practices with equity.
