Bachelor of Science in Anesthesia Technology

Program Duration 4 Years

Eligibility Criteria

i) Candidates with HSSC (F.Sc Pre-Medical/Anesthesia Technology) or A-Levels with equivalency certificate from IBCC Islamabad with at least 50% marks are eligible to Apply.
ii) Candidates with diploma in relevant field with at least 45% marks in annual system of 2.00 CGPA on the scales of 4.00 in semester system registered by KPK medical Faculty with equivalency certificate from IBCC Islamabad ae eligible to apply.

Program Objectives

* To prepare competent, entry-level Anesthesia Technologists in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains.
* Demonstrate proficiency in the use and maintenance of anesthesia-related equipment, applying sound technical skills.
* Apply the principles of basic and advanced airway management.
* Exhibit accountability of practice and adherence to ethical and legal standards.
* Provide quality patient care by incorporating technical and critical thinking in assisting with patients of all types. * Graduates are typically eligible to sit for the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists & Technicians (ASATT) National Certification Examination.
